The library consists of an IT Centre with 10 computers and a Sixth Form Study Room which has 20 computers.

The library opening times are:
Monday - Thursday 8.30 am to 4.30 pm
Friday 8.30 am to 4.00pm.
Library Resources
- Over 13,000 Fiction and Non Fiction and Reference books, Careers section, Italian section, Local Studies collection.
- Magazines and Newspapers
- Pamphlets and Cuttings
- Seating for 45 students
- Security Systems with alarm
In years 9, 10 and 11, students can borrow up to three items for study and/or pleasure, on a fortnightly basis.
Sixth Form students are entitled to loan 6 items a fortnight, plus additional overnight loans as required, and use the library as their study area during lesson time.
A 'fines' system is in place for overdue books, and any lost or damaged books must be paid for.
We encourage reading at any time and, to this end, we embark on various competitions such as
- song writing,
- poetry competitions,
- designing bookmarks,
- greetings cards
and various other activities to coincide with World Book Day and other events. We also run a Reading Club: "MORE READING" which meets once a month.
LIBRARY ARRANGEMENTS
ETIQUETTE
The Library etiquette follows the same expectations of the school:
- No food, drink or chewing gum
- No outdoor clothing
- No mobile phones
- No personal radios/disc players, etc.
- Quiet reading and homework study
