There is little doubt that St Thomas More Catholic School is a special place for students to learn and grow.All schools hope to be successful, but it is the way that this is achieved that sets St Thomas More out as being distinct and special and is a direct reflection of our Mission Statement. Our first duty as a school is to care for students and to help them achieve the best that is possible. Achieving these two core aims is something of a balancing act, but in recent years St Thomas More School has done just that by bringing together an ambition for academic excellence with a commitment to service and the development of faith. As a result, students at St Thomas More are confident in their expression of faith, are committed to service to others and are successful in their academic studies. Moreover, they leave school with the skills and characteristics that are required to meet the challenges of adult life. St Thomas More School has won any number of National Awards for the work that it does with students, staff and in the wider community. Our award for ‘Inclusion’ highlights the fact that we are a school that offers outstanding service to students of many different faith and cultural backgrounds and we are proud to offer a place where students and staff can develop their faith and sense of spirituality.
