Creative Approach to Learning
At St Thomas More we pride ourselves on our creative approach and the importance of the arts within the curriculum.
All year 9 students have the opportunity to study Art, Drama, Textiles, Graphics, Dance, Design & Technology, Media and Music as part of their timetable. We also encourage creative writing in English Language and Literature. Non-arts based departments take a creative approach to learning too, often incorporating drawing, singing and role play to appeal to all types of learner and sustain a varied, engaging classroom atmosphere. Arts courses at our school are often over-subscribed, which is testament to their popularity and the commitment of staff to encourage all facets of the academic individual.
